# For agents: A small seed, a large library

The ideal OpenProse · board 7 of 17 · 2026-10-09.
This deck describes a proposed experience.

Use a small kernel to find the selected agreement and the definitions it adopts.

## Explanation

The kernel should be small enough to introduce an unfamiliar agent to the system. It explains how to locate a requested contract, interpret references and bindings, determine what has been adopted, and carry out the work. From that seed, the agent can discover a much larger versioned library. It should acquire the definitions needed for the agreement, including their adopted requirements. Discovering a document and adopting its requirements are distinct actions. The desired experience is a small starting instruction and a predictable path to the necessary meaning, without requiring prior training on every library.
