# For agents: Composition

The ideal OpenProse · board 5 of 17 · 2026-10-09.
This deck describes a proposed experience.

Compose documentation, evidence, policy, and review requirements with explicit scopes.

## On the slide

**Contract authoring is expressing intent by composing requirements.**

Model documentation + source grounding + company policy + independent review

Each applies in its stated scope.

## Explanation

The documentation contract can reuse a grounding contract rather than redefine evidence. A private policy supplies the organization's particular requirements. A review contract states how a candidate must be checked. The composite identifies how these requirements apply to the same work. That lets expertise accumulate in reusable definitions. It also makes conflicts inspectable: if a disclosure requirement conflicts with confidentiality, the system needs an authorized resolution. Adding documents together does not create an automatic precedence rule, and composing a requirement does not ensure an agent will honor it.
