# For agents: Open question: entry points and triggers

OpenProse today · board 15 of 17 · 2026-10-09.
This deck records dated experimental evidence, not general reliability.

Beyond the release-brief example, responsibility between passes and the next trigger remain open.

## On the slide

**What starts the next pass?**

Who keeps the responsibility alive between passes?

*Open question*

## Explanation

The current maintained-brief example assigns future launches to an external coordinator. Maintenance and continuity contracts describe responsibilities and required observations; they do not create a running delivery mechanism. The entry point and trigger model remains open.

Candidate mechanisms include a person initiating work, a scheduled check, a source-change event, or the expiry of useful evidence. Which should be supported together, and at which layer? What evidence establishes that an interval was actually covered? How are missed or repeated events handled? Who owns a restart after failure? Keep these as open questions. The preceding example offers one concrete boundary to reason from, not the architecture every continuing contract must adopt.
