# For agents: OpenProse today

OpenProse today · board 1 of 17 · 2026-10-09.
This deck records dated experimental evidence, not general reliability.

A public Markdown kernel and versioned libraries support an experimental contract-authoring system.

## On the slide

**A public, versioned library of contracts in Markdown.**

Express requirements. Compose them. Ask an agent to do the work. Inspect the evidence.

Experimental release: `0.3.0-rc.3`

## Explanation

OpenProse provides a small kernel, a standard library, and twenty application libraries. The documents state requirements and explain how to combine and interpret them. A capable agent uses its existing harness and tools to carry out the selected agreement. The libraries are publicly readable now. We also have bounded execution and assessment evidence, including useful results and meaningful failures. This presentation will show the language, a few examples, and what those observations support. The published library is experimental; its availability is not a promise that every agent will fulfill every contract.
